Low Tide in Twilight

This passage tells the story of Kim Euihyun, who has reached a point in his life where he no longer wants to live. He is feeling empty and without hope for the future, and is on the verge of ending it all. He holds onto something that is dear to him as he looks out into the dark abyss. Just as he’s about to let go, someone pulls him back from the brink of despair. The person who saves him is Taeju. Euihyun, who is buried under a mountain of debt, has been given a second chance by Taeju. He offers Euihyun a place to live, a job, and financial assistance to help him get back on his feet. However, it’s not entirely clear what Taeju wants in return for his help. Taeju seems to be drawn to Euihyun’s scent and there is a sense of tension in the air as we wonder what Taeju’s true intentions might be. Will Taeju be able to help Euihyun overcome his struggles and find his way back to the light, or will his motives prove to be more sinister?
