The setting is a certain city in a certain Gulf state, the suburbs a ways away from the skyscrapers in the desert. Kadri is busy running grandma Jedda’s restaurant when Fati, a famous tyrant of a prince, appears, demanding the closure of the restaurant for a development project underway. His curiosity is piqued when he sees Kadri stubbornly refusing to move out and suddenly suggests settling matters through a particular process. Rather than upset Grandma Jedda, Kadri decides to take on the challenge. He goes to the prince’s palace with no bedroom experience to speak of and discovers pleasure for the first time in his life.
He tells himself that it’s just a way to protect the restaurant, but can’t stop reacting to the liberated prince with the naughty habits…!! A love story about a straight cook and an arrogant prince.
